Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Agreement

By using NullShield, you agree to these terms. NullShield is provided by SelectWise Consulting Limited ("we", "us", "our").

2. Service Description

NullShield provides automated security scanning of web applications. Scans check for common vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. Results are informational and do not constitute a comprehensive security audit.

3. Acceptable Use

You may only scan websites you own or have explicit authorisation to scan. You must not:

  • Scan websites without authorisation
  • Use the service for denial-of-service or exploitation
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or credit controls
  • Resell or redistribute scan results without our prior written consent

4. Credits & Billing

NullShield is a single subscription plan ($49/month) that includes a monthly credit allowance; credits are consumed per scan. Unused subscription credits do not carry over beyond the plan's rollover period. All prices are in USD and exclusive of VAT where applicable.

Cancellation & refunds. You may cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed thereafter. As the service is supplied digitally and consumed immediately, we do not offer refunds for the current period or for credits already granted, except under the first-scan guarantee below or where required by law. UK/EU consumers acknowledge that by starting to use the service within the cancellation period they consent to immediate supply and lose the statutory right to cancel for that period.

First-scan guarantee. If the first scan you run after subscribing does not surface a single issue you would want to fix, email desk@nullshield.org within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund that first month in full. You keep the report. The guarantee applies once per customer, to the first month of your first subscription.

5. Limitation of Liability

NullShield is provided "as is". We make no guarantees that scans will identify all vulnerabilities. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
